I'm glad you complained!

I do love those Bee Orchids.ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-33698476863966445962012-06-02T10:11:19.226+01:002012-06-02T10:11:19.226+01:00I'd say butterfly numbers are generally down h...I'd say butterfly numbers are generally down hereabouts, Greenie. Plenty of Speckled Woods, Holly Blues, a scattering of Orange Tips but little else crossing my path.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12042650405946029324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-9959754792438042862012-06-02T08:41:49.917+01:002012-06-02T08:41:49.917+01:00I'm still not seeing many butterflies anywhere...I'm still not seeing many butterflies anywhere Greenie. Lets hope things get better.
I've never understood the reasoning behind mowing or strimming the edges of path. They have done it at NH on paths that are about 12ft wide to start with. Gives the dogs somewhere to 'go' I suppose.
Poor little Jackdaw reminds me of myself before my first cuppa every morning!Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10543610581948446675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-914445354842395752012-06-01T21:33:14.436+01:002012-06-01T21:33:14.436+01:00Greenie.

Why haven't they been informed by now to wait until breeding season is over. Does it really make that much difference to them if they was to hold off for a few weeks or so? I have seen nests on the ground, and it won't be the last.Ken.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01795172926321030227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-42076808555866269402012-06-01T19:58:27.068+01:002012-06-01T19:58:27.068+01:00Bloody mowing regimes, whats up with people, it ju...Bloody mowing regimes, whats up with people, it just costs time and money. I suppose someone complained that the edges were untidy! The gang mowers were out on my patch today too - hence the rant :-)Warren Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16042798315431561018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-54948080306733064782012-06-01T19:29:12.177+01:002012-06-01T19:29:12.177+01:00Wonderful pics Greenie and a real Man Orchid ;-)Wonderful pics Greenie and a real Man Orchid ;-)Alan Paveyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09286527051679271536noreply@blogger.com
