Black caps and chiff chaffs are everywhere in the woods right through to the Rookery. One sad note is that LBB came in and felled the smaller of the allotment oaks making the little owls desert the larger oak, which is still intact, at least until August - sheer mindless vandalism on the part of the authorities to cut during the nesting season.Rod Comptonhttp://www.nature-photos.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-89812080512156941112013-04-15T16:03:38.001+01:002013-04-15T16:03:38.001+01:00Lovely to see the Comma Greenie! My husband saw a Small Tortoiseshell, a Brimstone and a White which he wasn't sure of this lunchtime so things must be moving on at last.

Well done on the first Swallow. You did well with Buzzards too. Glad to hear you have pond activity.

Your weather must have been much better than ours yesterday if you were having a barbecue, that's not bad in April!ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-4060411230035196042013-04-14T21:58:19.171+01:002013-04-14T21:58:19.171+01:00Great stuff Greenie, it really might be spring now...Great stuff Greenie, it really might be spring now!!Alan Paveyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09286527051679271536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-3832157320845871962013-04-14T20:25:31.554+01:002013-04-14T20:25:31.554+01:00Hi,nice shots of the Buzzard.Hi,nice shots of the Buzzard.alan woodcockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191233473936731378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-43291360652316272942013-04-14T19:46:32.129+01:002013-04-14T19:46:32.129+01:00Brimstones evrywhere it seems Greenie, but not her...Brimstones evrywhere it seems Greenie, but not here, they are always scarce here though ;-(Warren Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16042798315431561018noreply@blogger.com
