The book says that this plant has more than 70 common names , quoting , Bacon-and-Eggs , Fingers-and-Thumbs , Lady's Fingers ,Lady's Slipper ( I thought that was an Orchid !) , and Tom Thumb . So it is very probable that Eggs-and-Bacon would be on that list as well .Greeniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18036202102998375825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-88155893018376227722010-05-06T07:14:50.353+01:002010-05-06T07:14:50.353+01:00Phil / Dean ,

I always knew the Bird'sfoot Trefoil as Eggs and Bacon, rather than the other way round but perhaps that depends on where you live.

I wonder if we might have identified that moth last year, it looks ever so familiar but I can't remember what it was and can't seem to find it in my book this time! I looked back at your old posts but there are no pics, I remember now you saying you had deleted them. The moth Phil mentioned looks a bit too bright to me but that could be the photo.ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3297012542834525300.post-88865258359304055572010-05-05T19:17:15.291+01:002010-05-05T19:17:15.291+01:00Hi Greenie.
