An account of the wildlife I come across and hopefully pictures to bring the account closer

Spent the day hedgelaying up on the Greensand Ridge , and the only thing seen was a brass monkey , looking for a welding torch . I'm posting a number of shots , taken since New Year , whilst I am trying to get my head around the new gear that I asked Santa to bring me . Finding things quite different from my old gear , just hope I can get the hang of it .
Beautiful photos! They really are lovely Greenie, you are going to have great fun with your new gear, it looks to me like you have already got 'the hang of it'! Love the first one of the Redwing snaffling the berry.
We have deep snow here and it is snowing heavily at the moment, stay warm and safe where you are :)
Apart from a few days volunteering , I spend my retirement photographing and recording the wildlife in the area surrounding West Wickham , on the Kent/Surrey/Outer London borders

Hi Greenie,
Some really nice shots there, although the ducks look a tad brassed off!
Great blog.
Phil
Who's got a new toy then?
You've made a good start so far.... love the blackcaps!
Yes, really good shots.
I bet that new gear was a camera, Greenie.
Great Shots.

Much better photo's Greenie, are they taken with the new gear ?
Excellent photos Greenie - clear, sharp and lovely colours. Looks like you've got the hang of your new gear already!
